Welcome to our summer newsletter, we wanted to take this opportunity to share with you our news of changes within the centre and the dates that we closed over the summer months. The contact centre will close on Monday 27th August and will only be available for community contact on Sunday 26th August, however, with children being off school, you may find using the centre during weekdays, a better way of spending time together and saves you money by using our off peak rates. For those who are accessing supervised contact in the community, we have a range of great local attractions within walking distance, these include Abbey Mills, Colliers wood recreational park (playpark, picnic areas, basketball courts and a lido) restaurants and Dean City Farm. Being supervised in the community includes a report. Please contact staff, should you want to explore this option. Please note that changes to weekend contact sessions close by 5pm Thursday, after this day, we are no longer able to accept changes. Reports are issued 3 days after the contact session and emailed to both parties. We now operate within the borough of Croydon and can therefore provide supervised, supported and community contact in both Colliers Wood and Croydon. Please contact staff to find out more!
